Each coil is wound with 43 AWG plain enamel wire, allowing more turns without an excessive rise in DC resistance. This winding recipe lifts output and enhances midrange presence while keeping the top end articulate. The bridge pickup is wound to around 8.5 kΩ for a hotter, harmonically rich response, while the neck and middle are slightly under-wound to 8 kΩ for clarity and openness.
From a technical perspective, the pickups measure about 2.8 Henries of inductance—higher than a typical Strat coil (often 2.2–2.4 H).
